Dr. Sykes received his medical degree in 1981 from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and his general surgery residency in 1983 from George Washington University Medical Center. He completed his otolaryngology/head and neck surgery residency at Northwestern University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Sykes completed his fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at UC Davis.
