Fraxel is unique because of how the treatment actually does what it does. The laser produces thousands of tiny localized treatments known as MicroThermal Zones. These zones are what define an area that will undergo alteration and an area that will remain untouched. During the process, collagen and elastin are regenerated and about 20% of the skin is resurfaced with each session.

What makes Fraxel special is its ability to bypass healthy, living skin cells and touch only those cells that require re-growth. The Fraxel Skin Ecology System is a physician-dispensed cosmeceutical line that includes deep hydration masks, green tea infusion masks, antioxidant infusion serum, foaming cleanser, daily moisturizer (SPF 30) and hydrating night cream.

Catherine DeThomas, CME, is a Certified Medical Electrologist with additional certification and training in lasers for hair removal and skin rejuvenation. She is the Laser Safety Officer at Laser Skin Solutions and teaches physicians and nurses advanced techniques in laser hair removal. Cathi is also an Esthetician who obtained her Skin Care degree from the Florida College of Natural Health. She brings to Laser Skin Solutions her expertise in the ever-evolving world of skin care. She specializes in chemical peels, Vibradermabrasion™, product coaching and skin analysis.

Nicole Engler, CME, is a Certified Medical Electrologist with additional certification and training on lasers for hair removal. Nicki continues to update her knowledge with educational seminars on this ever-changing field.
