Manelle Fernando, MD, DPH
Dr. Manelle Fernando is passionate about the practice of Preventative Medicine. After graduating from the University of Ceylon Colombo Sri Lanka, she completed her post-graduate studies in London, England, and as a fellow of the World Health Organization, she obtained her Diploma in Preventative Medicine for the Royal College of Physicians London and the Royal College of Surgeons England.
She is Board Certified in Bariatrics by the American Board of Bariatric Medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She is also a member of the North American Association for the study of Obesity, the International Hormone Society and the North American Society of Mesotherapy.
She has studied and trained in Cosmetic Medicine in Paris, London and the USA and has practiced in the United States for over twelve years, having had clinics in Janesville, Wisconsin, Green Bay, Wisconsin and Sarasota, Florida. In order to provide a "Platinum Service" for her patients she focuses on treatment of Obesity and Related Metabolic Disorders, Hormonal Imbalances including Thyroid Abnormalities, Anti-Aging and Cosmetic Medicine.
With her Eastern background, Dr. Fernando takes a more mind and body approach to helping her patients, she uses alternative therapies whenever they are appropriate and involves the patient in planning treatments and making choices.
