Dr. Eleanor Barone is a graduate of the New York's Columbia University. She earned her Medical Degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1992. For the next seven years, she attended the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. During her post-graduate training there, she completed her internship and surgical residency and was appointed Chief Resident. She remained at the Medical College to complete a two-year research fellowship, studying chronic wounds, scarring and healing. She presented her findings at multiple medical conferences for the American College of Surgeons, Plastic Surgery Research Council and the International Wound Healing Congress in Italy, among others. Dr. Barone completed her plastic surgery residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn. She then re-located to Florida and worked in private practice, there and in Hawaii, for many years.
 Dr. Roger Bassin is one of a handful of highly trained surgeons in the country trained in his unique specialty. Dr. Bassin graduated from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and was accepted into the George Washington University medical school as part of their Early Selection program. After finishing his medical education, Dr. Bassin completed his internship at New York’s Lennox Hill Hospital and a residency in Ophthalmology at the prestigious Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Following his training in New York City, Dr. Bassin further trained in eyelid and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Illinois Chicago under the preceptorship of Dr. Allen Putterman, M.D., a pioneer in the field of eyelid and facial plastic surgery. During this time, Dr. Bassin also received liposuction training with some of Chicago’s most renowned plastic surgeons. Dr. Bassin is an eyelid and facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, his fellowship training approved by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Bassin is Board Certified.
He limits his practice to eyelid and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as body liposuction. Apart from repeatedly serving as an expert witness, Dr. Bassin has devoted a significant portion of his practice to the repair of many “botched” surgeries commonly seen around the eyes. Dr. Bassin has helped to pioneer many of the “invisible incision” techniques that are the future of aesthetic facial plastic surgery, and as such, has been featured in many local and national media for his novel approach and unique training. It is Dr. Bassin’s mission to provide the most natural looking result, so as to provide an “unoperated “ appearance.
