Dr. Tina B. West is a dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon with years of experience treating a wide variety of skin conditions. Dr. Tina B. West is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and the American Society of Dermatologic Laser Surgery. Additionally, she is a member of the American Medical Association and served as Vice Chairperson of the Dermatology Foundation from 1996 to 1999.
An accomplished lecturer and author, Dr. Tina B. West has been published in literature, peer-reviewed journals and books on a variety of topics, including laser resurfacing for the treatment of aging and acne scarring, as well as laser treatment of leg veins, rosacea, and other vascular disorders.
She also participated in phase III FDA trials for the approval of Botox for cosmetic use, and her practice has been selected as a national training center for physician instruction in Botox treatment as well as advanced Restylane injection technique.
