CosmoDerm and CosmoPlast are cosmetic injectable fillers used to fill wrinkles, moderate creases, and depressed scars. Derived from collagen, both products are also effective in enhancing lips and defining the lip border. Treatment time is less than and hour and is relatively painless, thanks to a local anesthetic included in the solution to minimize discomfort. Some minor swelling and redness can occur at the location of the injection, but should subside rather quickly. Results last up to six months and do not require an allergy test prior to treatment.
