W. Gregory Chernoff, M.D., F.R.C.S. received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. Prior to that he received an Advanced Bachelor of Science Degree in Anatomy from the same institution. He then completed one year of General Surgery followed by five years of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Western Ontario, in London, Canada.
During that time he completed one year of research in Head and Neck Surgery for which he received the Canadian Otolaryngological Research Award for Best Original Clinical Research.
To further his training, Dr. Chernoff was awarded a fellowship in Head and Neck/Microvascular/Facial Plastic Surgery at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
To complete his Facial Plastic/Cosmetic Surgery training he was awarded a fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He studied under Drs. Larry D. Schoenrock and Sheldon S. Kabaker, M.D. (a leading expert in hair restoration surgery) at the University of California in San Francisco where Dr. Chernoff served as a clinical instructor.

Dr. Chernoff specializes in hair restoration surgery emphasizing the most contemporary methods including micro-grafting, accelerated scalp reduction and hair flap surgery. He is board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Otolaryngology.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Aesthetic and Restorative Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons. Dr. Chernoff is an accomplished surgeon, researcher and lecturer who strives to provide the most state-of-the-art procedures to his patients.
