ThreadLift (thread face lift) is a revolutionary, non-surgical, non-invasive facelift procedure that uses fine surgical threads to lift the droopy areas of the brow, cheeks, jowls and neck. There are two components to thread face lift that result in the amazing non-surgical lift effects. In the first part of ThreadLift, sutures are used to loop around or "lasso" fixation points on the droopy brow, cheek, jowl and neck. The second part of the ThreadLift provides additional lift and shaping and uses tiny "anchored" prolene threads, which are normal surgical sutures modified with tiny "barbs" on them. The anchored threads are inserted with a hollow needle into the deep fat of the droopy facial elements, allowing the physician to lift, sculpt and shape the brow, cheeks and jowls. At the completion of the procedure, the threads are cut short so as to be completly undetectable. The lift effects are immediate and the risk and recovery minimal. One of the amazing features of the ThreadLift is its adjustable lift feature. As you continue to age, you may return to have the ThreadLift adjusted or tightened in any, or all of the regions with essentially no downtime! The results of the ThreadLift are immediate. There is a noticeable elevation and contour shaping of the brow, cheek, jowl and neck. The degree of this non-surgical lift delivers much of what might be achieved with a traditional surgical facelift without significant downtime. Will anyone be able to see or feel the threads?
This is one of the most common questions patients ask about ThreadLift. The answer is no. Once the tenderness from the treatment subsides, patients are never aware of the threads. Done without complication, the ThreadLift sutures cannot be seen or felt.

If you haven't been in to SKINTASTIC recently, you might not be aware of a special perk that's available to our clients: the SKINTASTIC VISIA computerized skin imaging & analysis!
The SKINTASTIC VISIA digital analysis utilizes a multi-spectral imaging system that provides clinical measurement of surface and subsurface epidermal irregularities and pigment conditions, and captures a clear, multi-dimensional image of select facial areas, while examining the severity of various age-related conditions such as:
Fine Lines & Wrinkles
Enlarged Pores
Porphyrins (Evidence of Bacterial Growth)
Hyperpigmentation/Color Variation (Age/Dark spots)
An imaging session generally takes less than 45 minutes. Once your imaging session is completed, your SKINTASTIC aesthetician will provide you with a detailed complexion report which focuses on specific problem areas, compares your results with others your age, and includes a prescribed treatment custom-designed to obtain optimal improvement in your skin tone and texture. Depending upon your skin condition and goals, your SKINTASTIC aesthetician, under the guidance of one of our physicians, may recommend further additional digital analyses to measure the effectiveness of any ongoing treatment regimens, or to determine further treatment options.
