CoolSculpting to Treat More Difficult Areas With New CoolFit
Zeltiq Aesthetics announced the launch of its new CoolFit applicator designed to be more efficient and treat a broader range of patients
CoolSculpting has been a very popular treatment for reducing love handles and abdomens for over 3 years now but its design limited its ability to actually perform "sculpting." Aesthetic doctors have frequently commented on their inability to place the hand piece exactly where they wanted it due to the size and shape of the device.

Fast forward to 2013 and the new CoolFit applicator. According to the company, there is 38% greater cooling surface, can treat longer fat bulges (per treatment), and they can now treat contours that were unreachable before.
CoolSculpting is FDA cleared for general non-invasive fat reduction. According to a recent company statement, more than 500,000 CoolSculpting treatments have been performed worldwide.
