"The Doctors" discuss how to eliminate Varicose Veins with a non-surgical vein removal laser treatment
On the Doctors TV Show, a Vein specialist, Dr. Margaret O'Byrne, uses the CoolTouch CTEV laser on a patient's vein, destroying the inside lining and leaving just a thin cord of scar tissue in place of the vein. No visible scarring or bruising occurs on the leg since the entry point is extremely small.  For many people, varicose veins and spider veins which are a common, mild variation of varicose veins, are simply a cosmetic concern. Although for some varicose veins can lead to more serious problems and can indicate a risk of circulatory problems.
What are varicose veins? Varicose veins are gnarled, twisted, enlarged veins near the surface of the skin. They most commonly develop in the legs and ankles although any vein may become varicose. What causes varicose veins? Varicose veins are caused by faulty valves in your veins and weakened vein walls. In a healthy vein, a one-way valves in the vein keeps blood flowing against gravity up towards the heart. When these valves stop functioning, blood pools, pressure builds, and the veins become weakened, enlarged, and twisted.
