Zerona uses laser technology to melt fat in targeted areas of the body. The fat is then expelled through the body's natural processes. It is completely non-invasive and patients report little to no associated pain; you can actually go back to regular activity immediately. Marianne from Realis Medical Spa says the procedure is, "painless with no downtime, however, we want our patients to work out the same day after each session." They recommend a cardiovascular workout to help the body process the melted fat. In a study, patients lost an average of 3.5 inches, with some losing as many as 9.
Each session takes about 40 minutes, which will vary depending on the area treated. You will visit your Zerona provider three times a week for two weeks for a full course of treatment. Providers charge anywhere from $2400-$3600, with most charging around $2800 for all six visits. Many providers include supplements in this price.
