Bra Lift and Liposuction of Back Fat the Topic of a Miami Channel 4 News Story

Dubbed "Beat Back-Fat with New Surgery" the story features two plastic surgeons who perform back lift procedures to remove excess skin and fat.

Dr. Brent Moelleken, a Plastic Surgeon in Beverly Hills California discusses a procedure to remove back fat besides traditional Liposuction or LipoSculpture which if performed alone on women in their 50's and 60's may cause the skin to hang. The new procedure involves a lift, similar to a Tummy Tuck or an Arm Lift, except its performed on excess skin and fat on the back.

Dr. Joseph Hunstad, a Plastic Surgeon in Charlotte, North Carolina describes the hour long procedureas the Bra Lift or the Bra Line Back Lift. The procedure is similar to other lifts where excess skin is removed (as much as 10 inches), except the skin is stretched up instead of down hiding the scar behind the bra or bathing suit top.
