Cosmetic Surgery Pioneer Goes Under the Knife

January to May 2009 sees a 70% increase in male surgery compared to the same statistics from the previous year.

(PRWEB) June 14, 2009 -- John Ryan, the chairman of MYA Cosmetic Surgery Ltd. and former owner of Transform Medical Group, is going under the knife this month to have an upper blepharoplasty also known as upper eyelid surgery. John Ryan, 59, has decided to have the procedure which he feels will make him look and feel younger. MYA Cosmetic Surgery Ltd, which celebrates its second birthday this month, has also reported that despite these tough economic times MYA have experienced steady growth with both inquiries and procedures carried out, evidencing that their excellent patient service and their specialist surgeon offering is working well.

This has affected my vision slightly so as well as it being for cosmetic reasons there is also a small medical side to it" says John.

MYA have reported a 70% increase in male procedures carried out this year compared to the same time last year; the most popular male procedures being nose reshaping (rhinoplasty) and liposuction (fat removal) to the chest and abdomen.
