photo of dr michael escobedo(Free-Press-Release.com) June 22, 2009 -- The Escobedo Skin Center implements the latest cosmetic technology offered by Solta Medical--the New Thermage NXT .

The new FDA-approved Thermage NXT uses mono-polar capacitive coupling to volumetrically heat skin to induce collagen remodeling in three dimensions for improved skin laxity.

We use Thermage to tighten loose skin; treat cellulite ; improve dimpling of the skin; and accentuate contours of the abdomen and breast. Thermage TC was first FDA approved in 2003 for the non-invasive treatment of wrinkles and rhytides in the periorbital, mid, and lower face. Dr. Michael Escobedo was among the first to originally offer Thermage when it was introduced in the United States in 2003.

“I am excited to offer the New Thermage NXT to our patients,” said Dr. Michael Escobedo, of Escobedo Skin Center. “I was the first physician in Central Texas to offer Thermage when it was FDA-approved years ago. The results were nothing short of amazing. I am extremely pleased to offer the new Thermage NXT which is faster and more effective than its predecessor. When combined with the new 16cm enhanced heating profile Thermage body tip, the results are staggering. Today, I was one of the first physicians to use the new body tip on my abs; pecs; and flanks. I lost up to 2 inches around my abs in a single treatment. I know in three months the results are going more impressive.”

“In December of 2008, I tried the old 16 cm body tip, but the new enhanced heating profile 16 cm tip heats the tissues more evenly to tighten loose skin,” said Dr. Michael Escobedo of the Escobedo Skin Center in Austin, Texas.
