Fraxel re:store Dual System Offers New Advantages

Solta announces its new Fraxel system that offers benefits for both the patient and physician.

Solta Medical, Inc. announced the release of its new Fraxel re:store Dual , the latest advancement in fractional resurfacing technology. This new technology has enhanced previous Fraxel lasers by adding the 1927nm Thalium laser, allowing treatment of areas other than the face and works very well to improve skin pigmentation.

Dr. Roy Geronemus says, "The expanded versatility of the Fraxel re:store Dual system, with the addition of the new 1927 nm wavelength, increases the areas of the body that I can treat and provides a superior treatment for pigmentation and actinic keratoses associated with photodamage." Dr. Geronemus is the director of the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York.

The benefits of the new Fraxel re:store Dual technology are a faster treatment, improved comfort for the patient with cooling built in to the hand piece, and treatment of more areas as well as the ability to treat larger areas in one session.

Just last week, Solta released their new Thermage CPT system which promises better results with less pain. Solta Medical is planning to present the Fraxel re:store Dual system and the Thermage CPT in illumiNATION tour which will visit over 20 U.S. cities and 11 European sites between September and November.
