Becoming a mother is a wonderful and exciting time, but it often leaves a woman's body quite changed from what it was before pregnancy. Dr. Greg DeLange at the Estetica Institute in Palm Beach, Florida performs a variation of the mommy makeovers that he termed "Mommy Lift," each week. Patients often want a breast augmentation that provides a natural look, which he performs by placing the breast implant under the muscle and tightening the skin on the breast. He also tightens the skin and muscles of the abdomen to repair the excess from pregnancy. With the placement of a specialized pain pump catheter between the abdominal muscles during surgery, the patient's pain level is reduced, allowing for less pain medication after surgery. In a few days, the mommy can return to driving and in a few weeks can begin exercise.
