Former American Idol Hopeful Mandisa's Weight Loss Secrets
Mandisa Hundley shares her weight loss secrets after losing 80 pounds!
 It was season 5 when the nation first met Mandisa, a talented singer, when she auditioned for American Idol. Her weight was an issue for judge Simon Cowell who said they'd need to build a "bigger stage" to accommodate her. Now, after losing 80 pounds, she's forgiven Simon and has her own album taking center stage.
It took a lot of hard work to lose the weight, but a healthy diet full of salads and lean meats as well as rigorous exercise has brought Mandisa back to health. After trying to hike at Mount Rushmore but finding it difficult to breathe, Mandisa knew it was time to lose the weight.
