Any tips, tricks, home remedies or creams that can aid in reducing the unsightly effects of cellulite are gobbled up by women who want to look fitter and healthier. While some treatments cost money and many involve surgical procedures, many believe that cellulite reduction can be accomplished easily, from home, and with less time or money than you might think.

Diet and Exercise

The first step to reducing the appearance of cellulite is perhaps the most difficult - start eating a healthy diet and exercising. A diet that is lower in fat, carbs, or calories will typically cause a decrease in cellulite, resulting in a healthier appearance. Along with eating healthier, try to drink more water, which usually results in healthier skin and a more appealing appearance.

no cellulite

Exercise can be important for a couple of reasons: first, it allows you to burn the calories you’ve consumed, and second, it will result in less stress, which often reduces the appearance of cellulite and promotes overall health. Over time, this lifestyle of wellness will give you more energy as well!

Creams

It’s probably no secret that, in all honesty, there’s no miracle cure for cellulite. The topical creams that promise fast results or your money back rarely deliver, however, when combined with some of the cellulite-reducing strategies we’ve mentioned before, topical creams can bring some results. Improved circulation and healthier appearance can be delivered in a topical cream—just be wary of imitations or charlatans.

Cocoa, coleus and shea will normally leave your skin looking very smooth and firm, as they naturally stimulate the tissue. The addition of vitamins is also a plus. By trying out different creams that seem to produce the greatest results, you will eventually find the best solution for your skin. Many such products offer guarantees, so try to choose the ones that do. That way, if a cream does not work, you’ll be able to send it back and move on to the next solution.

Caffeine

The final thing that deserves your attention is the “caffeine factor.” It is commonly accepted that ingested caffeine in coffee, sodas, and teas may end up hurting your battle against cellulite. Your body is more apt to form and maintain cellulite deposits if you eat or drink a lot of caffeine.

However, caffeine in body creams and lotions have the opposite effect. These seem to result in an overall tightening of the blood vessels in effective areas, which will in turn pull your skin tighter. While these do not fight the root of cellulite formation, it certainly affects the appearance of cellulite under the skin. Try out different cellulite-reduction creams with caffeine as an additive and determine which one works for you. The reduction of caffeine in the diet and addition in skin lotions may be the solution you need to healthier looking skin.
