Natural Breast Augmentation: A New Option

Using fat removed from your own body, doctors can plump up your bust using natural breast augmentation.

Going natural is a popular move these days partly because of the move to go green but also because of the fears surrounding the use of silicone. Physicians have developed natural breast augmentation as a safe way to enlarge the breast while also removing fat from the places the patient wants to see shrunk.

The fat cells removed during liposuction can only be saved if removed properly. Traditional lipo retains the integrity of the fat cells that are removed, allowing them to be reused for fat transfer but laser lipo procedures melt the fat, making it unusable.

Vaser liposelection breaks up the cells using ultrasonic waves, without doing much harm to the fat cells maintaining their structure. Other procedures such as Body-jet also keep the cells' structure intact for transfer.

Once the fat is removed, it is carefully filtered and injected into the breast. There were fears that the procedure may cause problems later in life in mammograms or result in cysts in the breast, but a recent study shows that the procedure appears to be safe.
