Plastic Surgery Today Marks Its Two-Year Anniversary on Dallas/Fort Worth's 105.3

EEach week Dr. Schwartz and Kelly answer dozens of calls, emails and reveal the truth behind plastic surgery and what is really involved. “More people than ever are having plastic surgery and more people have questions about procedures like breast augmentation, liposuction, face lifts, and Botox,” says Dr. Schwartz. “There are tons of television shows, articles, even entire magazines, but none are able to address plastic surgery issues the way we do.”

Plastic Surgery Today marks its two-year anniversary on Dallas/Fort Worth’s top rated Live 105.3 Free FM Saturday, February 17 at 3pm. The popular weekend show is hosted by board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Robert Schwartz and Kelly from the Pugs and Kelly Show on Live 105.3.

Each week Dr. Schwartz and Kelly answer dozens of calls, emails and reveal the truth behind plastic surgery and what is really involved. “More people than ever are having plastic surgery and more people have questions about procedures like breast augmentation, liposuction, face lifts, and Botox,” says Dr. Schwartz. “There are tons of television shows, articles, even entire magazines, but none are able to address plastic surgery issues the way we do.”

Dr. Schwartz says by talking to callers one-on-one he is able to address their concerns and common misconceptions. “It’s amazing, we have been on the air for two years and each week the phones just keep lighting up,” he says. “People continue to respond to this show because it’s not only educating them about plastic surgery, it’s also answering the questions they are afraid to ask. Not everyone feels comfortable asking about procedures like breast augmentation, but they are curious. That’s where we help.”

Beyond caller questions, Plastic Surgery Today also spotlights the latest, greatest and sometimes suspicious procedures and products on the market. “Consumers need to know that just because something is new doesn’t mean it’s good,” says Dr. Schwartz. “It’s crucial that potential patients take time to learn about procedures they are interested in; from checking out their doctor to researching the procedure itself. Our show is one of the many resources available.”

“It’s informative, it’s entertaining, the show is a lot of fun,” says Kelly. “It’s the most fun I have on the weekends.” She says people now email her and even stop her at parties asking for plastic surgery advice. “I’ve learned a lot doing this show and I like getting to play doctor for an hour each week,” Kelly says.

Dr. Schwartz is thrilled that the show continues to be such a big success and is growing now that it can be heard streaming live every Saturday at 3pm. Dr. Robert Schwartz is a board certified, highly credentialed plastic surgeon. He graduated summa cum laude from Yale University, was awarded a Regents Scholarship for academic excellence at ULCA School of Medicine, and completed his surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
