BOTOX ® FDA Approved for treating sweaty armpits

BOTOX ® which is best known for treating facial wrinkles has recently been approved by the FDA to diminish armpit sweat. Many providers have been using BOTOX ® to relieve excessive sweat from patients for years, however, such use was considered "off-label." Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) affects about one percent of the population.
