How does ThermaFrax Work?

First, consider Thermage, skin treatment that does not require lasers, injections or surgery but still creates consistent results that can last for years. Through tightening all three layers of a person's skin instead of focusing on only the top layer like many other current skin renewal treatments, Thermage can really make an impact.

The facial skin is made up of three layers: the epidermis, the collagen-rich inner layer called the dermis, and the third layer called the subcutaneous later. In order to get a comprehensive change in skin's appearance and health all three layers must receive a change. Thermage targets the collagen incorporated in the under layers with Capacitive Radiofrequency (CRF) technology that tightens and contours the skin to create a smoother tone and more youthful appearance.

Next, consider Fraxel or any kind of fractional resurfacing laser, which works in similar ways as the CO2 resurfacing laser, though skin heals faster with less discomfort. The procedure involves the division of a laser beam into thousands of microscopic treatment zones, each targeting a specific area of skin. The selective portions of skin are heated and then healthy new cells fill in the damaged areas. Healing time is reduced because fewer cells have to be replaced. Combine these treatments for an optimum result you can be very with and be proud to show off your new face.

What Else to Know about ThermaFrax

Before accepting ThermaFrax as the one answer to your needs, be sure to discuss any reservations and questions with your doctor. Be sure you know what kinds of results are realistic so that you are not disappointed with spent time and money. Remember, that even though there is no surgery involved, there is still a couple weeks of recovery time that must be scheduled into your life. You will still be able to maintain a normal lifestyle, just maybe turned down a notch or two.

Also remember that though the treatment works quickly, it is not an instant fix. You will see gradual changes, but over time these changes will blow you away.
