Body Lift

A Body Lift, also known as a Circumferential Abdominoplasty, is similar to a face lift. With a face lift, you lift the sagging skin and wrinkles of the face and hide the scar in the hair. With a body lift, you lift the sagging skin of the thighs and buttocks and hide the scar in the bikini line. The ultrasonic body lift additionally flattens the abdomen and smoothes the back.

The scar is long and encircles the entire body. It is similar to a tummy tuck scar that continues to the middle of the back, just above the buttocks. The scar is not necessarily wide. It can be totally hidden in a skimpy bikini. To be a candidate, you must hate the wrinkles and sagging skin above and below the bikini line more than you hate the scar. The scar is permanent but fades significantly over time.

This procedure often takes six hours or longer to perform and requires post-surgical hospitalization. It frequently takes two to four weeks to recover.
