Cosmoderm - Cosmoplast

CosmoDerm and CosmoPlast are injectable cosmetic fillers made from purified human collagen. It is used to correct soft tissue defects such as wrinkles and acne scars as well as fill facial lines and creases. Both products contain lidocaine, which prevents pain and discomfort at the site of injection. CosmoDerm is used for minor skin defects and CosmoPlast is used for more serious defects.

CosmoDerm and CosmoPlast can be used to treat facial wrinkles on the forehead, glabellar frown lines, crow's feet, smoker's lines, nasolabial lines, oral commissures, scars, and other soft tissue defects. Lip augmentation results are excellent. These treatments may last up to 6 months, depending on the area treated and the amount of material used.

The original collagens, Zyderm and Zyplast, have been used safely for over 20 years and have an excellent safety record. The new forms of collagen, CosmoDerm and CosmoPlast, have been used safely for 15 years in burn victims and skin grafting.
