SmartXide Dot Therapy is a revolutionary laser skin resurfacing method that has recently been approved by the FDA for use in the United States. Like traditional laser resurfacing, SmartXide Dot uses a CO2 (carbon dioxide) laser to reduce such things as wrinkles, acne scars, redness and sun damage.

    What sets SmartXide Dot apart from traditional resurfacing methods is its unique ability to treat specific areas within a target zone, as opposed to the entire face, using a new technology that splits the laser beam into fine micro beams. This results in faster healing and no downtime for the patient. In fact, patients can apply make-up directly following a SmartXide Dot treatment. An added benefit of the SmartXide Dot method is that skin is tightened up to 20 percent, and can actually be seen tightening during the procedure. Full results are typically noticed within two to four treatment sessions, held two to four weeks apart. Improvements should continue to be seen for six months following the final session.
