The SlimLipo™ body sculpting laser offers a blend of laser wavelengths target fat and dermal tissue. Together, these unique SlimLipo wavelengths result in efficient fat "melting" and skin retraction, skin tightening and smoothing. The "Slim" in SlimLipo stands for Selective Laser Induced Melting. SlimLipo is a minimally invasive procedure designed to be used for body sculpting.
Compared to traditional liposuction, the laser causes less trauma in the tissues and vessels around the targeted areas of fat, resulting in less bruising and bleeding. The SlimLipo instrument only requires small incisions (ie. small scars) compared with traditional methods.
