One largely overlooked facet of medicine is that it is reactive, not proactive. Put simply, you have to be ill to get treatment and receive the benefits of modern medicine.
Live Well MD physicians do not wait for illness to strike. We have a commitment to the prevention of illness and natural hormonal balancing is the key. The key to prevention of many disease states and the key to promoting the quality of life you deserve.
About Dr. Mary Kay Ross, MD, FACEP
Dr. Ross began practicing medicine in 1999. She attended the University of Louisville for both her undergraduate and medical school training. Dr. Ross is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and is board certified in emergency medicine.
Over the past ten years, Dr. Ross has had the opportunity to work in several emergency rooms around the country. During this time, she has had the pleasure of teaching medical students, residents, and paramedics. Dr. Ross enjoys the challenge of emergency medicine, and feels that she is able to make a difference and impact her patients during the short time she spends with them in the emergency room.
Sadly, Dr. Ross has witnessed first-hand the overall health decline of the American population. Increases in diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and obesity are clearly evident. Realizing an increase in the aging population, coupled with the overall health decline of Americans, Dr. Ross has decided to apply her medical knowledge and training to help treat her patients with a more holistic natural approach.
