Dr. Sachit Shah is an accomplished laser surgeon in British Columbia who has been practicing medicine for over 20 years.
Dr. Shah is the first physician in Canada to offer a combination of Velasmooth cellulite treatments and Lipodissolve fat reduction treatments for body contouring.
He has trained with physicians who are at the forefront of aesthetic and cosmetic medicine and continues to enhance his education at every opportunity as well as imparting that knowledge both to his patients and to other members of the medical community.
He received his medical degree from London, England in 1985. After extensive education in the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada, he has served patients as a full service family physician for over 20 years.
During the past 20 years he has developed expertise in many aspects of medicine from medical acupuncture, pain management, palliative care medicine, primary care dermatology, and non-surgical cosmetic medicine. Through continuing education, he has obtained advanced qualifications in each of these fields.
For many years, Dr. Shah planned to provide a cosmetic laser facility in Surrey, knowing that there are many clinics in Vancouver but very few that are easily accessible to people in the Fraser Valley. This dream bore fruit in 2001 when he obtained his first lasers. Since then, he has established himself as a leading laser surgeon specializing in non-surgical cosmetic medicine.
Dr. Shah has invested time and knowledge in obtaining the latest proven laser technology and offers the widest array of laser equipment in the Fraser Valley that allows him to treat a large variety of cosmetic problems.
He is a member of the following organizations; American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Academy of Anti-Aging, American Society of Aesthetic Lipodissolve, Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Practice at UBC, Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and an examiner for the Clinical Competence Program of BC.
He is also a certified BOTOX trainer for pain and is certified to inject both BOTOX Cosmetic and Restylane/Perlane. Dr. Shah is certified in the Advanced FotofacialRF procedure.
Dr. Shah combines treatments effectively in order to achieve the optimum results for your aesthetic concerns and believes one size does not fit all and therefore customizes treatments for the individual regardless of age. He strongly believes that knowledge is power and encourages patients to make informed choices prior to embarking on any treatments. His goals are for real people to have real solutions for their cosmetic concerns.
