The treatment is performed with an ergonomic, very comfortable hand piece which glides over the patients face, neck or body. The energy is conducted through a smooth glycerin jelly and transferred to the tissue. Once a target temperature is reached, it is maintained for the duration of the treatment. The target temperature actually feels very good similar to a hot stone massage making the treatment a pleasant experience. In the hands of an experienced provider, the risks are minimal.

This process triggers the skin to heal naturally while stimulating the production of new collagen, elastic fibers and the formation of new blood vessels. The treatment delivers a highly uniform heat energy that reaches multiple depths under the skin to allow for better treatment outcomes
